The Challenge

BBTK Brussels Halle Vilvoorde (Bond van Bedienden, Technici en Kaderleden - Union of Employees, Technicians and Managers) is a white-collar union affiliated with ABVV. They represent employees from various sectors: finance, trade, industry, services, social profit, temporary work, and education. From their office at Rouppeplein in Brussels, they serve employees throughout the Brussels, Halle, and Vilvoorde area.

The traditional registration process required potential members to physically visit an office or fill out paper forms. This created a barrier, especially for working people who have difficulty coming by during office hours. In an era where more and more services are digital, an online registration option was necessary to stay competitive and attract new members.

Our Approach

We developed a user-friendly online registration form that seamlessly integrates with BBTK BHV’s existing website and processes.

Phase 1: Form Design & User Experience

An intuitive registration form was designed that guides potential members through the process step by step. The form collects all necessary data: personal information, employer details, sector, and contact preferences. Special attention was given to a clear structure and straightforward instructions, so that even less digitally skilled users can fill out the form without problems.

Phase 2: Bilingual Implementation

The complete registration form was set up bilingually (Dutch/French), tailored to the Brussels context where both languages are common. Users can fill out the form in their preferred language and receive confirmations in the same language.

Phase 3: Processing & Integration

After submitting the form, the data is sent in a structured way to BBTK BHV’s administration. Automatic confirmation emails inform both the new member and the responsible staff. This streamlines the processing and reduces the chance of errors or missed registrations.
